Electricity: Residents, Business Owners Lament Black-out In Osun

Residents and business owners have lamented eight hours Black-out experienced within the state capital Osun Osogbo on Wednesday.
Blaze Newz gathered that some parts in the state capital like Ogooluwa,Aregbe area,and Olaiya experienced non-electricity supply from 7pm Wednesday till Thursday.
Town like Ede was also affected.

As at the time of filing this report,Blaze Newz observed that the electricity supply is yet to be restored.
A shop owner,Iyabo Akeem, who spoke with our correspondent, expressed disappointment on the Ibadan Electricity Distributed Company (IBEDC) over the ongoing black-out.
According to Mrs. Akeem,” I imploy the IBEDC to restore back the electricity because if it continues this way, majority of business owner’s income will be affected negatively”.

Abimbola Oyekale, a welder said “This is a great disappointment, resuming to my workshop today with lot of unfinished works on ground to do and no electricity.
Also, Ezekiel Olamilekan said,” I was really disappointed getting home to install the GOTV I just brought but unfortunately,there was no electricity to do so.

“My phone has been off since last night, nobody can contact me, this calls for a urgent action by the IBEDC” David Israel said.
