Wizkid's Distance Self From Performing At Peter Obi’s Campaign

The management of the Nigerian singer, Wizkid, has debunked the report of the singer performing at the campaign of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Words had spread about the singer’s alleged intention to perform at a campaign in Abuja on the 18th of February for the cause of Peter Obi.

In a post via Instagram by Mr Sunday Aare, Wizkid’s manager affirmed that the reports were false and completely made up.

“This is to inform the general public that this event led by @avotujohnson1st is a scam!!! Wizkid and his management know nothing about this event and accordingly, he will not perform at the said event as claimed, so please beware of this poster and information put out from its organizers as Wizkid and his management will not be liable for any damages.

Appropriate legal action is currently being explored against the persons responsible for creating and disseminating this false information,” the statement reads.
