Protest Rocks Osogbo, Jubilations In Iragbiji Over Tribunal Judgement

Supporters of Governor Ademola Adeleke who are also members of the People’s Democratic Party,PDP, on Friday, protested against the governorship petition tribunal judgement.

The Tribunal judgement upturned the victory of Senator Adeleke at the July 16 governorship election, Blaze Newz gathered.

The protesters who are in hundreds held placard with different inscription and were all chanting “Oyetola Ole, APC Ole” (Oyetola thief, APC thief) moved from Odi-olowo area to Ola-iya under bridge.

The governor enjoined that residents of the state should remain calmed “I call on our people to remain calm. We will appeal the judgement and we are sure justice will be done. Let our people be reassured that we will do everything possible to retain this widely acclaimed mandate.”

But in Iragbiji, the home town of Gboyega Oyetola residents thronged the streets in jubilations following the victory of their son, Oyetola at election petition Tribunal.
