Don’t Push Us Into Joblessness – Osun Sacked 1,500 Teachers Beg Adeleke
The affected Osun 1,500 recruited primary and secondary teachers employed under the immediate past administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola have again pleaded to the incumbent Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke to rescind his executive order which nullified their appointments.
The affected teachers, who addressed journalists in Osogbo on Monday, said their employment by the former administration followed due process and procedure.
Blaz News gathered that the sacked teachers resumed work both the Gboyega-led and Senator Adeleke have not pay them their salaries.

Isola Eunice who spoke on behalf of the sacked teachers, said Governor Adeleke should have mercy on them by speaking to them in order to know their fate on the teaching job.
According to Eunice ” When Governor Ademola Adeleke came on board he said our appointment should be pend and be under review.
She added that they “have done everything possible to get his (Governor Adeleke’s) attention but we have not been able to get his response.

“We are dieing of depression because great number of us where we worked before we have resigned.”
Also, Adedeji Emmanuel said their recruitment process which started in 2020 followed due procedure and they all got their appointment letters on September 30,2022.

Emmanuel who lamented that most of them graduated from school 10 to 15 years ago saying it will not be palatable for the government to force them back into the street jobless.
