Adeleke kick-start Rural Electrification Projects In Osun, Presents N500M To OSCSDA

As part of his mandate and campaign promises to prioritize the people in the grassroot in his government, Senator Ademola Adeleke through the office of the Osun Community and Social Development Agency(OSCSDA), presented N500m cheques to more than Forty (40) Communities in the State.

The Osun Community And Social Development Agency had received an express approval from Governor Adeleke with appropriate funding, to embark on immediate implementation of Community Plans, Social Development and Poverty Alleviation Programme across the communities in the State which are parts of the Agenda of the Adeleke’s Administration.

The event which was held at Aurora Event centre in Osogbo, the State capital had the Governor presenting cheques to the representative of the 40 communities selected for various social intervention projects in the first phase of the scheme.

Governor Adeleke at the event mandated the agency (OSCDA) to begin quick implementation of the rural electrification project, social and community development programmes of this government, in a bid for the people in the grassroot to further feel the effects of this people’s friendly government in the State.

According to the General Manager of the agency, Mrs. Aderonke Funmi Abokede, the communities and identified beneficial rural areas in the state shall in the next couple of days start receiving members of the working team of her agency in a bid to jump-start the implementation of the projects.

It will be recalled that, the administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke had embarked on massive developmental drive in the state which includes rehabilitation of major township roads across the 9 Federal Constituency of Osun, Flag-off of Imole Free Surgical and medical outreach, construction of motorized boreholes across the 332Wards in the State to meet the immediate water needs of the identified areas in the state among other lofty projects the administration had embarked on.

All these projects are slated to be completed and be commissioned by the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke in his first 100days in Office.
