Osun Poly Reacts To Missing Of Ex-student, Odunayo

Osun State Polytechnic,Iree has reacted to the missing of one, Ibraheem Mariam Odunayo, who graduated from the institution in 2022.

Blaze Newz gathered that the missing fresh graduate finished from Food Science Technology department of the institution.

According to a relative of the missing girl who spoke to Blaze Newz said Odunayo left home February 9,2023, told her aged mother in Ede that she was going to the school to go and complete her project.

“We have reported about her missing to the police and the Students’ Affair of Osun poly” the relative said.

Reacting to this, Media Relations Officer of the institution, Tope Abiola said “If she has graduated from OSPOLY, I don’t think the Institution has any responsibility to monitor her movement, besides that our students are not doing any Project Defence now.

“The last Project Defence we had was in November 2022.

“Nonetheless, we sympathize with her parents and we pray that she is recovered soonest, while we also urge the parents to report the incidence to Security Operatives for investigations.”
