2023 Presidential Election: Coalition Of South-west Youths Endorses Atiku, Canvases For Massive Votes

The Coalition of South West Youths Forum, CSYF, has endorsed former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the People’s Democratic Party for the February 25 presidential election.
CSYF endorsement was made known in a communique released and jointly signed by its General Cordinator, Deola Friday, Secretary, Arowosegbe Segun after February 16 meeting which was made available to Blaze Newz.
The Youth coalition said after a thorough examination of the ongoing political campaign by political parties and their manifestos, the coalition agreed to throw its weight behind Atiku saying only the former vice president “exhibits national experience and we cannot gamble at this critical time.”

The communique reads in part “The country is at crucial need for leadership intervention which can only be realized by voting in candidates with experience and with political structure cut across length and breadth of Nigeria to avoid re-occurrence of Nigeria General election 1959 and 1979 skewness of vote along ethnic line.)

“That the APC led Government is the worst since inception of this country. Millions of Nigerians Youths and workforce file to travel abroad in a single day as a result of frustration and hardship imposed by APC government.
“The entire APC government formation from National to State level in the last seven years plus has consistently showed that they are not ready for good governance.

“The APC Governors failed to judiciously utilize the bail-out funds, mismanage covid 19 funds, voted against Local Government Autonomy.
“The national assembly was approving both domestic and foreign loans without consideration on its impact on our economy.
“Just to mention a few, Bola Ahmed Tinubu cannot exonerate himself from the failed APC led government; he is the cause of the present Nigerians predicaments. With his antics of deceit, he deceived Nigerians in voting Buhari in 2015, 2019 and now 2023.
“What Nigeria need is a president with economic mindset, not a political investor whose major investment is to sponsor political scavengers/politicians to gain the control of the sources of government wealth.

“The BAT slogan of “Emi lo kan” is an effrontery and reflection of BAT mindset to lead rather than to serve Nigerians. Nigerians need a democrat not a plutocrat.
“The wave of obedient movement can only have impact on some region within the country, more especially in the south, and may therefore not be enough to gain control of government.
“The critical issues of restructuring and devolution of power to states and local governments are completely silence in BAT manisfestoes but well spelt out in Atiku ABUBAKAR campaign manisfestoes.
“The system needs a man of experience, that one govern a state is not yardstick for performance at the national level in Nigeria. Besides, Atiku Abubakar is South West Son by registration.
