Don't Pay Cash To Any OIRS Official-OIRS DIT Urges

The Director Income Tax, Osun Internal Revenue Service, Abiodun Olaitan has urged residents of Osun state not to pay cash to any official of the OIRS either at the local government levels or main headquarters.

It would be recalled that the agency on several occasions have instructed its officials to stop collecting cash from taxpayers as means of payments in order for their payment to be properly documented.

Abiodun Olaitan who spoke through the Zonal Coordinator Osun West District, OIRS, Mr. Mukaila Jimoh said these while featuring on a weekly live program christened “Alaye Lori Owo Ori”.

The tax expert rolled out many benefits in payment of taxes by people saying if only residents can be religiously committed to payments of taxes and levies, society would be a better place.

He therefore sent a passionate appeal to the residents of osun on the importance and multifaceted gains of adhering to the payments of taxes and levies on a regular basis in order to help the state government in actualising its many policies and programmes for the state.
