Gani Adams Reveals Secret On How Tinubu Emerged Nigeria’s President-elect

The Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams has congratulated the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
The Southwest high chief said Tinubu’s emergence as president-elect was as “the reflection of his doggedness and consistency in Nigeria’s politics.”
Adams’ reaction on Wednesday is contained in a statement by his special assistant on media, Kehinde Aderemi.

The traditional leader urged the President-elect to remain committed to the ideals of democracy “by fulfilling his promise to be the servant of the people.”
He added that the triumph of the former Lagos governor and co-founder of the ruling party was “well-deserved,” noting: “He has been consistent as a frontline politician that had fought tirelessly for the enthronement of this democracy. He fought a long battle ahead of this victory.”

Wishing Tinubu “the best in his new political adventure,” Adams advised him to remember “it is his duty as the next president of Nigeria to fulfil the democratic vision.”

Adams, who heads the Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, reminded Tinubu of his promise to ensure peace, unity, and justice under his leadership.
