Akire Ile, Oba Olatunbosun Congratulates Nigeria's President-elect, Tinubu

As Asiwaju Bola Tinubu continues to receive goodwill messages as the president-elect across the world, the Akire-Ilé of Ikire-Ile Kingdom, Ọba Abdulazeez Olatunbosun Adebamiji joined all well wishers to congratulate the former Lagos State governor.

Oba Olatunbosun in his congratulatory message,on Thursday, tasked Asiwaju Tinubu to strengthen education, economy, industry, agriculture, technology and innovation.

He also charged him to ensure that employment is available to the youths, and bring insecurity to the barest minimum.

The Royal father who quoted verse from the Qur’an wrote, “O Allâh! Lord of Power (And Rule), Thou gives power to whom Thou pleases, and Thou strippes off power from whom Thou pleases: Thou endues with honour whom Thou pleases, and Thou brings low whom Thou pleases: In Thy hand is all good. Verily, over all things Thou hast power.”

“I write to congratulate our President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu along side his Vice-President-Elect Senator Kashim Shettima on their well deserved victory in the just concluded Presidential elections. Today, you collected your Certificate of Return. Work must begin in earnest.

“I wish to call on our President-Elect to always recall that this victory is not based on your wisdom, high budget, experience, strength, or any other factors other than the Power of God Who has made the way for his emergence and ultimate victory.

“You are completely aware of the enormous enmity against you by several forces standing against your victory but God the Almighty made you to overcome all of them. Their plan was to put off the light of God with their mouth; but Allah will continue strengthen His light even if the unbelievers do not like it.

“Therefore, do not ever forget that God. He enthrons whoever He wishes and dethrones whoever He wishes. Remember how you expect some people to work in your support but rather worked against you. Always put your trust in God, first, and work with the best of intentions for the future of this country.

“You might not have given God the Almighty the kind of attention and worship that He deserves. Now is the time for you to show GRATITUDE to God by worshipping Him wholeheartedly as He deserves.

“He has chosen you out of several other candidates at this crucial time to retool this country, and He has equipped you for the job. You have already demonstrated your leadership capabilities to everyone to see.

“Now, you must be closer to God for you need Him to succeed. Your life and health are in His Hands. Worship Him, and pray unto Him.

“I pray to God the Almighty to give you the best of health, and preserve you beyond the eight years of your tenure as President of this country.

“Mr President-Elect, you will soon be sworn-in come May 29th. Do not be unjust to anyone. Be fair to all parts of this country. Although some people did not vote for you, all that is now in the past.

“May Allâh uphold you, strengthen your wisdom and intelligence and protect you to take this country beyond the imagination of everyone in terms of national growth and development.

“Strengthen our education, economy, industry, agriculture, technology, innovation, employment, and bring insecurity to the barest minimum.

“Do something about our banks that are milking the poor masses, and make Nigeria Great again.

“May Allâh continue to uphold you. Aamiin.”
