Ancelotti Worries Over Real Madrid’s Lack Of Urgency In Front of Goal

Carlo Ancelotti is worried about Real Madrid’s inefficiency in front of goal in the club’s recent games Los Blancos fired blanks in their goalless draw against Real Betis on Sunday as they drop further back in La Liga.
Real Madrid are now nine points behind Barcelona in their pursuit to retain the La Liga title this season.
The veteran manager saw his team’s chances of retaining their La Liga crown take a huge blow as they fell nine points adrift of Barcelona after the draw against Real Betis.

The reigning La Liga champions scored one against Atletico Madrid but failed to hit the back of the net in subsequent games against Barcelona and Real Betis.
Real Madrid’s current striking options
Carlo Ancelotti has preferred Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo in attack for Real Madrid this season although that combination has not lived up to expectations.

Benzema has netted 16 times for Real Madrid this season with 11 coming in La Liga, while Vinicius Junior has 7 La Liga goals and 14 goals overall in all competitions.
Both forwards seem to be struggling for form recently and that has led to the lack of goals for Real Madrid.

Kylian Mbappe has continued to be linked with a move to Real Madrid, despite having rejected the reigning European champions in favour of signing a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain, Football Espana reports.

Real Madrid shortlist candidates to replace Ancelotti
Earlier, Sports Brief reported Real Madrid has begun the search for Carlo Ancelotti’s replacement as Real Madrid manager following the club’s recent slump in form under the veteran Italian.
Club president Florentino Perez is leaving no stone unturned as he tries to arrest Real Madrid’s poor run of results and will not mind replacing Ancelotti when the need arises.
Perez has shortlisted Castilla coach Raul Gonzalez and former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel as Ancelotti’s potential replacement in the summer.
