Few Banks Commence Payment Of Cash In Osogbo

Despite the judgment of Supreme Court which nullified the cashless policy of the federal government last week Friday, residents of Osogbo the state capital of Osun continue to experience scarcity of naira notes.
Blaiz Newz gathered on Monday that majority of the banks in Osogbo have no money to give to their customers except Ecobank and Zenith.
It was also gathered, that Ecobank and Zenith bank are giving their customers numbers to access the Automated Teller Machine (ATM).
Some of the banks with no money
For their customers are: Jaiz, Keystone,and Polaris.

Accoding to Ayodeji Ireoluwa who spoke to our correspondent said ” when I heard that the cashless policy has been nullified, I felt so happy, that, atleast this morning money will be available in banks. ”
” It saddens my heart this morning that banks are yet to have money to give out”.
Also, Ifeanyi Ngozi said ” The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) should please bring out the old naira notes, so that we can have money to spend afterall, the policy has been nullified. ”

“This people should have mercy on us, imagining I want to buy ewedu but i do not have cash to buy it, this is suffering” Adedayo Oluwaseun however lamented.
