Banks Resume N5000 Cash Withdrawal In Osogbo

Residents of Osogbo, the state capital of Osun continue to lament naira scarcity as banks have no cash to give to their customers.
Despite supreme court Judgement which nullified the enforcement of new notes and extended the validity of the old N500, and N1000 till December 31, 2023.
Blaze Newz gathered from staffs of commercial banks in Osogbo that the Central Bank of Nigeria ( CBN), did not give them enough cash service their customers.

Many banks are not working effectively operating to their full capacity as they do not have cash to give to their customers.
Blaze Newz gathered on Tuesday that only Keystone and Jaiz bank are giving their customers N5000 new naira notes in addition with the old N200 notes.
It was also gathered that, they banks made use of numbers to organize their customers who are withdrawing N5000 at the counter.

Other banks like, Polaris, Ecobank, and Zenith does not have money to give to their customers.
According to Adelayo Sofiat, ” we cannot continue like this in this country, solution should be find to this situation. ”
Mrs Oladiran peace however lamented ” despite the fact that I am having leg pain, I still have to wait for my turn to receive the money.
