26-year-old Journalist, Rukayat Made History,Wins KSHA Poll

26-year-old journalist, Rukayat Motunrayo Shittu candidate of the All Progressive Congress in Kwara State has won the seat of Owode/Onire State Constituency.
Miss Shittu will be representing the good people of Owode/Onire State Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly.
She was declared winner by Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC, after polling 7521 to defeat PDP Abdullah Magaji who polled 6957 and other candidates.

The house of assembly election was held on Saturday, March 18 across the state.
Blaze Newz gathered that the lawmaker-elect became the first young female to win election into the Kwara State House of Assembly.
