Pogba Breaks Silence On His Attempted Kidnapping

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba confessed that his attempted kidnapping in March, 2022 had a ‘major impact’ on his body and injuries.

The Frenchman was heard by judges in France at the end of March of this year as part of the ongoing trials surrounding an extortion and organised crime case involving Pogba’s older brother Mathias.

Five individuals were arrested and later charged for kidnapping and attempting to extort Pogba in an incident in Paris on March 19, 2022, including his brother and a number of childhood friends.

Pogba had previously told police that the group “pointed guns” at him in a “frightening” ordeal, during which the former Manchester United midfielder was told to pay €13 million for “protection” he would receive in the future.

In his most recent testimony in the courtroom, Pogba told jurors: “That ordeal had a major impact on my body and my injuries.”
