Worker’s Day: Oyetola Recieves Knock As Adeleke Gets Accolade
As the world celebrates 2023 International Worker’s Day, the former president of Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Osun state chapter, Kenneth Olutayo Tinubu has berated immediate past governor of Osun, Gboyega Oyetola over his attitude to workers.
Tinubu maintained that the non-challant attitude of Oyetola towards civil servants led to voting him out of office in 2022 July 16 gubernatorial election.
Speaking on Rave FM,Osogbo Frank Talk Monday’s edition, the former NULGE president said ” the non- challant attitude of the past government (Adegboyega Oyetola-led administration) caused their downfall.

Tinubu said, ” because they belief that the workers, they have nothing to offer, and the workers showed them that we are ready to support government that are ready to support us.
“Eighty percent of workers they voted against the last government”.
Also, Tinubu said the promises made by the present Osun governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke to the civil servants was the reason why people voted for him.

According to Tinubu “when this man wanted to come in, we held a meeting with him, and he promised us, that was why people voted for him.
“The workers can influence the result of an election most expeciallly in the state where is a civil service state and that is what happen in Osun.”
