Have Faith, Hope In Nigeria- University VC Urges Inducted Nurses

The Vice Chancellor of Osun state University Osogbo, Professor Odunayo Adebooye has charged all the institution’s 65 inducted nurses to have hope and faith in Nigeria.

He charged them at the fourth Induction Ceremony of registered nurses at the institution’s College of Health Sciences, Isale Osun, Osogbo, Osun state on Friday.

Addressing the nurses at the induction ceremony, Prof. Adebooye said all nurses in the country need to prioritize the need to birth nation that has license them to become professional nurses.

“By considering to help our helpless patient, in their thousands, who needs more care, more kindness, and more health professionals to give them hope. and to prioritise the need to give back to the nation that has licensed you to prosper as nursing professionals.

“This you can do, by staying back to help our helpless patients in their thousands who need more care, more kindness and more medics to give them hope.”

Earlier in his opening remark, Provost of the Uniosun College of Health Science, Professor Christopher Alebiosu urged the inductees to ensure that they allow peace in the hospitals that they will be working.

He also charged them to be a good ambassador of their institution adding that they should also give back to the college that produced them.
